Job Title: Operations/Training Manager
Salary: £40,000 per annum plus bonus based on performanceand pension (Negotiable based on experience)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an exceptional person to take a community-based training provider on to the next stage of its development. EBCF is a prime contractor for the West Midlands Combined Authority delivering AEB in a range of sector specific qualifications with specialism in ESOL, English and Maths provision. This distinctive company, boasts excellent facilities, good financial health and was graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted in October 2021. The new Operations/Training Manager will be responsible for the overall management of the training staff consisting of both employed and self-employed tutors and will be responsible for achieving the contractual targets of the Company. The Manager will report directly to the Operations Director and will liaise with other departments within the EBCF group of companies. As determined by the Board of Directors they will have a strong understanding of skills, issues in key industry sectors and be effective in engaging with businesses and responding rapidly to their training needs. They will inspire and motivate staff and students to achieve excellence, ensuring that the Company continues to maintain exceptional standards and meet contractual obligations. Further, to effectively engage with a range of stakeholders, manage adult education budgets, meet income targets, and liaise with external bodies/agencies and partnerships. The successful candidate will be degree level qualified (desirable) and have over 2 years’ experience of working within the AEB provision.
