EBCF provides free and paid training courses for employed and unemployed learners, along with employability programmes and careers guidance for adults across Birmingham, Sandwell, Solihull, and the wider West Midlands region.
What is EBCF’s Ofsted rating?
EBCF has been graded “Strong” across all five key areas in the latest Ofsted inspection:

Do you offer ESOL classes?
Yes, EBCF offers ESOL Level 1 and 2 courses for learners who want to improve speaking, reading, writing, and listening skills.
What is the course duration?
Different courses have different durations, and learners need to come to our training centres for the courses. We also offer a blended learning option for employed/self-employed learners.

Who is eligible for funded courses?
Candidates must be:
- Aged 19+
- A West Midlands resident
- Must be earning less than £34,500 if employed or self-employed
- Living in the UK for over 3 years, or have Indefinite Leave to Remain in the UK
- Individuals under the Ukrainian settlement or similar scheme are also eligible

Do I need qualifications to join?
Most beginner courses do not require previous qualifications. Some advanced programmes like ESOL Level 1, require entry-level English understanding
What is EBCF Tuition?
EBCF Tuition is a live online class that offers additional educational support, including English, Maths, Functional Skills, and learning support programmes.
