(8th September 2025) We’re proud to announce that EBCF has officially taken over the Summerfield Community Centre – now fully under our ownership following a successful Community Asset Transfer in September 2025. This marks a major milestone in our journey to empower communities and expand our training offering across the West Midlands.
By bringing Summerfield’s legacy and energy into our fold, we proudly stand as one of the region’s largest independent training centres. The newly acquired space includes nine modern training rooms, three community halls, a gym, canteen, outdoor sports facilities, and dedicated advisor offices, along with a purpose-built warehousing training setup. This allows us to expand our reach and support learners across Ladywood, Sandwell and surrounding areas with high quality training in a welcoming, community-focused environment.
Shafayet Khan, Managing Director at EBCF, shared “The addition of Summerfield Community Centre aligns with our long-term vision of fostering sustainable growth while enhancing the services and opportunities available to the communities we serve.
